HEVGAV Platform

A clearer dine-in flow for guests and staff

Let guests order from the table, give staff one clearer way to handle dine-in orders and service, and keep the POS or management system you already use.

  • Dine-in focused
  • Existing POS / management environment remains in place
  • Local Resilience or Private Hosted
  • Perpetual Single-Location Software License

What it is

Add HEVGAV without replacing the systems you already use

HEVGAV brings tables, ordering, staff activity and service into one focused dine-in flow while your existing POS or management system stays in place.

Keep what already works. Add HEVGAV where the dine-in flow needs more structure.

Working alongside your existing POS does not mean a POS integration is included. Any integration requirement is assessed separately.

Operational flow

One connected flow from the start of each table session to closure

A dine-in table moves through one connected flow: the session starts, guests or staff place orders, the cashier confirms them, confirmed orders go to the kitchen when KDS is enabled, and service continues through bill handoff and table closure.

This section uses an explanatory service-flow diagram until real production UI is available for Stage 2.

Where it fits

Best for restaurants with a straightforward dine-in operation

The standard HEVGAV Platform is designed for small and medium dine-in restaurants and cafés that want a clearer operating flow, plan to keep their existing POS or management system, and can handle confirmed orders through one logical preparation queue.

  • Dine-in service
  • Table/session-based operations
  • QR ordering
  • Staff Order Entry
  • One logical preparation queue
  • An existing POS/management environment that remains in place

Deployment

Choose where HEVGAV runs — and what happens if the internet goes down

The two standard options mainly differ in where the application runs and what staff can keep doing during an internet outage.

Local Resilience topology: local staff operations remain inside the restaurant LAN while customer self-ordering follows a separate internet-dependent public path.

Option A

Local Resilience

Keep selected staff operations running inside the restaurant even if the internet connection is lost.

BoundaryFor Option A Local Resilience deployments only, Cashier queue, KDS when enabled, session tracking, local staff alerts, Staff Order Entry, and locally available reporting continue functioning on the restaurant LAN if internet connectivity is lost. Customer self-ordering is not advertised or represented as offline-capable.

Customer pathCustomer self-ordering still requires a valid internet path to the public customer URL.

Private Hosted topology: restaurant staff and customer access require the internet path to a private single-tenant VPS, with no local application fallback.

Option B

Private Hosted

Run HEVGAV on a private hosted server instead of maintaining the application server inside the restaurant.

BoundaryFor Option B Hosted deployments, internet connectivity at the restaurant is required for both staff access and customer self-ordering because the operational application is hosted on the remote VPS.

Need a different infrastructure model? Hybrid or non-standard architectures are assessed separately through Restaurant Systems Engineering rather than presented as a standard Platform deployment.

Commercial confidence

Clear terms for your licence, support, maintenance and data

01 · Licence

Perpetual Single-Location Software License

Your licence covers one named physical restaurant location and lets you keep using the licensed version there permanently. Each restaurant location needs its own licence and deployment.

The licence does not transfer ownership of the software, source code or HEVGAV intellectual property.

02 · Initial support

60-Day Limited Post-Go-Live Support

Your initial deployment includes 60 days of defined post-Go-Live support beginning on signed Go-Live Acceptance.

03 · Maintenance

12 months of Tier A Maintenance entitlement

For the first 12 months, covered bug fixes, security updates and compatibility updates for the supported version are included.

The 12-month maintenance entitlement is not 12 months of unlimited general support. If maintenance is not renewed after the included entitlement, the perpetual licence does not expire and the application is not remotely disabled merely because maintenance lapsed. The client may continue using the last delivered version, while future compatibility is not guaranteed.

04 · Data portability

Baseline Client Export

Baseline Client Export is free and unconditional for every licensed client regardless of maintenance status. It includes a point-in-time export of operational data and an exportable archive of approved menu media currently in use.

Baseline Client Export is not an automated recurring backup service. Developer-assisted recovery, troubleshooting, repeated manual preparation or custom packaging may be support or separately billable work unless required to correct a covered software defect.

Is it the right fit?

Know when the standard Platform is the right fit

HEVGAV Platform is deliberately focused. It is not built to replace your POS or become an inventory system, delivery or takeaway platform, payment processor, full restaurant ERP or complex multi-station kitchen-routing system.

  • A full POS
  • An inventory system
  • A delivery platform
  • A takeaway platform
  • A full restaurant ERP
  • A payment processor
  • A complex multi-station kitchen-routing platform

If your restaurant needs something broader or more specialised, HEVGAV can assess it separately through Restaurant Systems Engineering.
